Marcel Pantera and Sophie Louise

It all started somewhere in 1998, a chance meeting between Marcel and Sophie.
This meeting took place at a wild party ('where else could it take place?') Marcel as prolific party organiser, Sophie as highly present guest, drawing all the attention to her character, moving around in those high heels. Their huge love for vodka with champaign instantly created a new society couple. From that moment on, their prominent presence as an extravagant duo at many (inter)national parties became fact.
Besides creating parties for clients, Marcel organized his own parties and Sophie became a solid partner to Marcel and easily stepped into the role of DJ or dancer. It was at those specific parties where their strength as a team became obvious to the outside world. With their years of professional experience many people started approaching Marcel and Sophie when they wanted an event or a party 'with a slight difference'.
So after years of teaming up naturally, they finally teamed up as Treat. A team that has lived years of nightlife, made wild ideas happen, created many special moments and after all this time, officially joined hands to entertain you and yours truly, in full force.

Born in 1967 in Rotterdam. As a young guy he was always actively out and about, being part of the emerging nightlife, surrounded by extravagant club people. Via Ibiza, Mallorca, Rotterdam (where he started Pantera Productions) and The Hague, Marcel landed in Amsterdam around 1995. Especially the Pantera go-go girls were famous around the world. In the 90's Amsterdam soon became too small and parties were being thrown in places like Miami, Istanbul, Milan and Athens. This gained some notoriety and led to great fame for the Dutch entertainment industry.
In 1999 ID&T knocked on Pantera Productions' door and added the company to it's business model. Within this team Marcel held creative positions for festivals like Innercity and Mysteryland and he became responsible for the overall artistic direction for the SENSATION concept. This is where he also started incorporating brands into the world of dance, as seen with the Twix Talent Room.

He was too individually wired to feel at home within a single business model and started True People in 2001, focussing on experience communication and the interactions with brands. True People centred around Mind & Mood marketing and worked for brands like Vodafone, Schweppes, Unilever, Bacardi, Hans Ubbink, Diesel, Moët & Chandon and the Dutch TMF Awards.

Besides the communication aspect of these events, Marcel stays 'fresh' and up to date by attending parties, prolific events, and being a welcomed guest in 'top-notch' clubs. His professional eye on the myriad of nightlife culture made him create a new business title, that of 'Mood Director'.

Other projects Marcel has worked on:
· Nightwriters. In collaboration with best selling author Kluun they initiated a successful “stand up” writers night. These nights take place across Holland with agency representation of established writers like Saskia Noort, Susan Smit, Ronald Giphart and many others. At present Nightwriters are working on a theatre show for 2013.

· Maison Royale
· Opening hotel/restaurant MOMO
· Award ceremony of ADCN (Dutch Art Directors Club) (golden lion presentations)
· The development of 'Shake en Suite' for Schweppes, the platform for The Fabulous Shakerboys.
· SOAP (Soul of all People)

Sophie Louise (bio)

Born in 1977 in Amsterdam. At a young age she already ventured into the wild wide world. Working and travelling were on her 'to do' list, but working in interesting scenes like the nightlife was actually on top of her wish list. Music, extravagant shows in clubs, the craziness that belonged to that world, was what made her heart beat faster. This is where she gets her energy and this is where her big love for show and entertainment comes from. In the nineties, clubs like the Mazzo, the IT, RoXY and the Richter were hotspots where Sophie was spotted. Not only as a guest but also as a gogo dancer and a 'not-to-miss-personality' door-bitch.

She finally made a choice to leave the nightlife for what it was and became a film editor. For more than ten years she edited commercials, music videos and art films, many directed by big (inter)national directors for Vodafone, Tommy Hilfiger, MTV, Almarai, Erwin Olaf, AVK,and Heineken.

Even though she worked a highly demanding daytime job, the nightlife kept flirting with her and she remained active behind the scenes, helping to organise various events that Marcel was initiating. The nightlife effortlessly became a part of her life again and with her high energy, it was a personal joy to combine with her daytime job. Especially her creative input, her visual outlook on events and her out-of-the-box thinking is unique and has been at the centre of many parties where 'a bit different/make it different' was the requirement. Sophie is a creative powerhouse who understands what it takes to make a party blow up!
